CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Gladys Law, 82, of Charleston died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Feb. 15, 1919, in Mississippi County, daughter of Frank O. and Willie Blandford Presson Smith. She and Mayo A. Law were married March 7, 1940. He died July 20, 1987.
Law lived in Memphis, Tenn., a number of years, returning to Charleston in 1998. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, A.J. Smith of West Covina, Calif., and a sister, Velma Harvell of Charleston.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
