CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Gina Lee Johnson, 54, of Chaffee died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at her home. She was born Dec. 12, 1968, in Cape Girardeau to Donald Lowell and Janet Matlock Johnson. CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Gina Lee Johnson, 54, of Chaffee died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at her home.

She was born Dec. 12, 1968, in Cape Girardeau to Donald Lowell and Janet Matlock Johnson.

Gina loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She worked at Food Giant in Chaffee as a night manager, where she was a valuable member of the Food Giant family.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Johnson of Cape Girardeau; brother, Donald Johnson Jr. of Chaffee; sister, Misti Johnson of Marble Hill, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jayden Poppen and Kyah Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Illinois.
