Gina Pelia Heider, 6 weeks old, of Gordonville passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born March 2, 2012, in St. Louis, daughter of Dennis Wayne and Stephanie Lorene Heider. Baby Gina may have only lived a short six weeks, but through a miracle of God she was blessed with a short time and beat existing odds. Hence, Pelia, meaning miracle of God, given to her as her middle name...

Gina Pelia Heider, 6 weeks old, of Gordonville passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born March 2, 2012, in St. Louis, daughter of Dennis Wayne and Stephanie Lorene Heider.

Baby Gina may have only lived a short six weeks, but through a miracle of God she was blessed with a short time and beat existing odds. Hence, Pelia, meaning miracle of God, given to her as her middle name.

In addition to her loving parents, survivors include four brothers, Blake, Ryan, Eric and Zackary Heider, all of Gordonville; paternal grandparents, Robert (Marva) Heider of Hillsboro, Ore., Karen (Steve) Coffman of Aloha, Ore.; maternal grandparents, Richard and Lynda Arnold-Bently of Molalla, Ore.; several aunts and uncles.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.
