Emde, 84, died Saturday, July 16, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Larry Emde of Seminole, Fla.; two daughters, Judith Taylor of St. Louis, Donna Conway of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, William and Norbert Emde of Sedgewickville; two sisters, Nora Valleroy of Perryville, Martha White of Jackson, and five grandchildren.
