Gertrude E. Siebert, 81, of Cape Girardeau and formerly of Tilsit died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 1, 1916, daughter of Louis F. and Fredericke Ahrens Siebert.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Tilsit.

Survivors include six nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Tilsit, with the Rev. Don Reder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
