DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral services for Gertrude Manning of Dongola will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate, with burial in Friendship Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m.

Manning, 84, died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996, at City Care Center in Cobden.

She was born Feb. 2, 1912, in Champaign, daughter of Edward Franklin and Dolly Mae Wilbur Hodge. She and Austin Manning were married March 19, 1964. He died Nov. 8, 1980.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
