WICHITA, Kan. -- Gertrude Holden, 93, of Wichita died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001.
She was born Feb. 24, 1907, in Jackson, Mo., daughter of John and Frieda Johanna Heyde Kies. She was a graduate of Washington University School of Nursing and was a member of the DX chapter of P.E.O.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Raymond F. Holden Jr.; two sons, Dr. Philip Holden of Bellevue, Mich., and Ray Holden III of Bonner Springs, Kan.; one daughter, Rebecca Deckard of Wichita; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Downing and Lahey Mortuary of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
