GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Gertrude Dover, 94, of Grand Chain died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Metropolis.

She was the daughter of George and Mamie Dry King. She married Jasper Dover, who preceded her in death.

Dover was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Georgia Badgley and Hazel Helm of Grand Chain, Helen Harris of Mt. Carmel; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and three sisters.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 6-9 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Heisner officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Grand Chain.
