BERTRAND -- Geraldine "Gerry" Morse, 62, of Bertrand died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at her daughter's home at Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 26, 1937, at Hasty, Ark., daughter of Charles Bunyon and Mary Frances Farmer Bratton.

She had been a waitress at the Gaslight Square Restaurant at Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, David Morse of St. Robert; three daughters, Beverly Nilges of Cape Girardeau, Brenda Barber of Bertrand and Sandra Fickle of Puyallup, Wash.; three brothers, Joe Bratton of Union City, Tenn., Billy Bratton of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Lonnie Bratton of Samburg, Tenn.; four sisters, Genevieve Powers and Phyllis Joseph, both of Hornbeak, Tenn., Pauline Semancik of Blodgett and Nellie Newman of Dyersburg; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a great-grandson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cobbs Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
