Thelma Geraldine Hull, 68, of Jackson died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 22, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Claude and Myrtle Mae Poe Huff. She and Cordell Hull were married April 7, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark. Mrs. Hull was raised in Cape Girardeau, moving to Jackson two years ago. She was of the Assembly of God belief. She was an avid worker in the church and with her grandchildren...

Thelma Geraldine Hull, 68, of Jackson died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at her home.

She was born Oct. 22, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Claude and Myrtle Mae Poe Huff. She and Cordell Hull were married April 7, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark.

Mrs. Hull was raised in Cape Girardeau, moving to Jackson two years ago. She was of the Assembly of God belief. She was an avid worker in the church and with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Carla (Moe) Desaulniers of Jackson; a son, Bob (Jane) Hull of Jackson; a brother, Gary Huff of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Pat Stull of Cape Girardeau and Della Moore of Florissant, Mo.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Bryan (Amy) Altenthal, Bekki Altenthal (Lance) Haman, Chris (Veronica) Hull and Heather (Joe) Basuel; two stepgrandchildren, Robin Piercy and Chris (Heather) Desaulniers; five great-grandchildren, Madilyn and London Haman, Teghan Altenthal, Hunter and Katee Hull; three great-stepgrandchildren, Zackery Piercy, Jackson and Jaydon Desaulniers; many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association Hospice.
