SIKESTON, Mo. -- Geraldine F. Brasenell, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Barlow, Ky., daughter of Tillman Lee and Willie Mae Crice Duley. She and Thomas Calvin Brasenell were married Feb. 8, 1946, at Miner, Mo. He died April 23, 1991...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Geraldine F. Brasenell, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Barlow, Ky., daughter of Tillman Lee and Willie Mae Crice Duley. She and Thomas Calvin Brasenell were married Feb. 8, 1946, at Miner, Mo. He died April 23, 1991.

Brasenell was a member of Miner Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Tom Brasenell of Memphis, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 9:30 a.m. Monday.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The Rev. Mitchell Jackson will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Jim Matthews.
