GERALD POPP

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Gerald F. Popp, 84, of Perryville died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at PerryOaks Manor.

He was born March 19, 1917, at Altenburg, Mo., son of Paul B. and Emma Mueller Popp.

Popp was circuit clerk of Perry County most of his life, and was bank director at First National Bank more than 30 years.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Layman's League, and had been church secretary.

Popp was a member of Chamber of Commerce, and American Legion Booster Post 133.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the church Friday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.
