TAMMS, Ill. -- Gerald Lamb, 72, of Tamms died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girar-deau.
He was born Nov. 14, 1934, in McClure, Ill., son of Henry and Melissa Porter Lamb. He and Mary Ann Davidson were married Aug. 16, 1969.
Lamb retired as a truck driver with Jordan Trucking.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Gary Lamb of Florida, Charles and Jeff Lamb of Detroit, Jamie Lamb of Vienna, Ill., Mark Glaab of Thebes, Ill.; four daughters, Linda Waltzer of Seattle, Wash., Judy Eatmon of Groom, Texas, Rene Goodman of Millersville, Carla Sissom of Tamms; a sister, Elsie Lingle of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Donald Lamb of Rochelle, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clint Nale officiating. Burial will be in McCrite Cemetery.
