PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Funeral for Georgia Savannah Johnson of Portageville will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Eugene Poole will officiate. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
DeLisle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Johnson, 78, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at her home.
She was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Manila, Ark., daughter of Joe and Jeffie Lee Gaines Robinson. She and Alro Johnson were married June 16, 1943, in Portageville. He died June 23, 1969.
Johnson was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kenny and Greg Johnson of Portageville; four daughters, Brenda Bailey of Portageville, Jeanette Kitchen of Jackson, Mo., Irma Rhodes of Scott City, Mo., Kathy Johnson of Perryville, Mo.; two brothers, Vester and Gay Robinson of Portageville; a sister, Edna McCulley of Scott City; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three brothers, and three sisters.
