Georgia Mae Biri, 82, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1930, at Neely's Landing, daughter of George David and Eula Ray Robison Clingingsmith. She and Loyd J. Biri were married Aug. 14, 1948. Biri worked for the former Litz Poultry in Jackson and then for Southeast Missouri State University in housekeeping for 12 years...

Georgia Mae Biri, 82, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at her home.

She was born Oct. 20, 1930, at Neely's Landing, daughter of George David and Eula Ray Robison Clingingsmith. She and Loyd J. Biri were married Aug. 14, 1948.

Biri worked for the former Litz Poultry in Jackson and then for Southeast Missouri State University in housekeeping for 12 years.

Survivors include two sons, James Biri of Scott City and Walter (Donna) Biri of Jackson; a daughter, Barbara Maloney of Marble Hill, Mo.,; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jan. 11, 2006; a brother, James; two sisters Mary Lou and Maxine; and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vernon Long officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
