PERRYVILLE -- George "Glen" Moore, 78, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 3, 1992, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born March 30, 1913, in Perry County, son of George Carl and Myrtle Voelker Moore. He and Geraldine Brown were married Sept. 3, 1939.

Moore was a retired farmer, and member of Christ the Savior Church at Brewer.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Glennon Moore of Perryville, Melvin Moore of Ste. Genevieve, Earl Moore of St. Marys; a daughter, Susan Schaffner of Ste. Genevieve; a sister, Velda Brown of Brewer; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ the Savior Church. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday. The parish wake is at 8 tonight.
