Funeral service for George H. Piper of Rosamond, Calif., was held Wednesday in Rosamond.
Piper, 57, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, at his home.
He was born July 22, 1938, in Jackson, son of Herbert and Hazel Estes Piper.
Piper was employed by the U.S. Government in California 36 years, retiring in 1991. He had lived in California 40 years.
Survivors include a son, Larry Piper of Hawaii; a daughter, Cheryl Cain of state of Florida; his mother of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Herman and John Piper of Cape Girardeau, Miles Piper of Scott City; three sisters, Sally McClard and Margie Talley of Cape Girardeau, Emma Woodall of Maryville, Wash., and three grandchildren.
