GEORGE FOZZARD

COBDEN, Ill. -- George Fozzard, 90, of Cobden died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Park Avenue Health Care Home in Herrin, Ill.

He was born Feb. 28, 1911, in Arenzville, Ill., son of Howard and Bessie Wright Fozzard.

Fozzard was a farmer.

Survivors include a son, Carl Fozzard of Kankakee, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia, Ill.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
