MCCLURE, Ill. -- George W. Eudy, 70, of McClure died Monday, May 12, 2008, at his home. He was born May 10, 1938, in Reynoldsville, Ill., son of Earl Eugene and Viola Wareing Eudy. He and Vivian Twente were married May 31, 1959, in Reynoldsville. Eudy owned and operated Eudy Wheel Alignment in Cape Girardeau 30 years. He was a member of East Cape Baptist Church...

MCCLURE, Ill. -- George W. Eudy, 70, of McClure died Monday, May 12, 2008, at his home.

He was born May 10, 1938, in Reynoldsville, Ill., son of Earl Eugene and Viola Wareing Eudy. He and Vivian Twente were married May 31, 1959, in Reynoldsville.

Eudy owned and operated Eudy Wheel Alignment in Cape Girardeau 30 years. He was a member of East Cape Baptist Church.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jay and Shaun Eudy of McClure; six sisters, Ermadell Elkins and Peggy St. Cin of Anna, Ill., Bonnie Pickle and Flodean Hinkle of Jonesboro, Ill., Shirley Miller of McClure, Naomi Clark of Caledonia, Mich.; two sisters-in-law, Ollie Eudy of Anna and Pat Eudy of Camp Verde, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leon and Ernest "Bus" Eudy.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Dean West and Matthew Butrum officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
