MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- George Cambron, 93, of Morehouse died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Wentzville Park Care Center in Wentzville, Mo. He was born Feb. 22, 1908, in Morehouse, son of Jacob R. and Lena Clark Cambron. He and Frieda Warren were married June 1, 1946. She died April 21, 1997...

MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- George Cambron, 93, of Morehouse died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Wentzville Park Care Center in Wentzville, Mo.

He was born Feb. 22, 1908, in Morehouse, son of Jacob R. and Lena Clark Cambron. He and Frieda Warren were married June 1, 1946. She died April 21, 1997.

Cambron owned and operated a cafe and pool hall many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Greta Obrecht of O'Fallon, Mo.; a son, Keith Cambron of Walnut Creek, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Taylor Cemetery near Essex, Mo. The Rev. Randy Thomas will officiate.
