ALTENBURG -- George A. Weber, 87, of Altenburg, died Wednesday, March 31, 1993, at his home. He was born Nov. 25, 1905, in Jacob, Ill., son of Adolph and Sarah Marie Rodewald Weber. He and Leota Walther were married Sept. 26, 1931. Weber was retired from Frisco Railroad Co., and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here...

ALTENBURG -- George A. Weber, 87, of Altenburg, died Wednesday, March 31, 1993, at his home.

He was born Nov. 25, 1905, in Jacob, Ill., son of Adolph and Sarah Marie Rodewald Weber. He and Leota Walther were married Sept. 26, 1931.

Weber was retired from Frisco Railroad Co., and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Orville Weber of St. Charles, Glenn and Douglas Weber of Frohna; two daughters, Linda Williams of Jackson, Sharon Welker of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Alfred Weber of Perryville, Ernest Weber of Altenburg; a sister, Rose Flaskamper of St. Louis; 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Church. The Rev. Willard Kassulke will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 5-9 p.m. today, and 6:30 a.m.-noon Saturday.
