PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Genevieve A. "Jenny" Leible, 84, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at Independence Care Center of Perry County, Missouri, in Perryville.

She was born Jan. 30, 1932 in Perry County, daughter of Henry I. and Rosa T. (Unterreiner) Erzfeld.

She and Edmund D. Leible were married April 25, 1953. He preceded her in death June 26, 2015.

She first had worked at International Shoe Company, St. Joseph Catholic School as a cook and then retired from Gilster Mary Lee, where she managed the employee store room. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and working in her flower beds. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek and the Ladies Organization.

Survivors include one daughter and one son, Rhonda (Roger) Buerck of Perryville and Dan (Peggy) Leible of Frohna, Missouri; two sisters, Edna Wucher of St. Louis and Rose Bueltemann of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Jamie (Regina) Buerck, Zach Buerck, Christopher (Kelly) Leible and Heather (Travis) Mueller; and six great-grandchildren, Sidney and Colton Buerck, Bennett and Oliver Mueller and Emma and Braxton Leible.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one infant son, Darren Leible; two brothers, Elliott and Martin Erzfeld; and two sisters, Valeria Schloss and Mildred Enke.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, with rosary at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. She then will be taken to St. Joseph Catholic Church for funeral Mass at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jim French officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to St. Joseph Steeple Fund.

Young and Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Perryville provided the arrangements.
