ANNA, Ill. -- Geneva D. Sherrill, 89, of Anna died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Union County Hospital. She was born Jan. 4, 1912, at Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Georgia Waller Ritter. She and Kenneth Sherrill were married July 9, 1947, in Anna. He died April 15, 1999...

ANNA, Ill. -- Geneva D. Sherrill, 89, of Anna died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Jan. 4, 1912, at Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Georgia Waller Ritter. She and Kenneth Sherrill were married July 9, 1947, in Anna. He died April 15, 1999.

Sherrill was a member of Anna United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Tom Sherrill of Jonesboro, Ill.; and a brother, John Ritter of Bowling Green, Ky.

Funeral and burial will be private.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home of Anna is in charge of arrangements.
