CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Geneva Smith Miskell of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Jack Owens will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Miskell, 70, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 28, 1927, at Randles, daughter of William Riley and Alma B. Coomer Owens. She first married Mac Smith.
Miskell was a member of Wesleyan Church in Scott City.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Smith of St. Louis, Paul Smith of Rockview, Mac Smith of Scott City; two daughters, Jeanie Lincoln of Jackson, Susie Helmig of St. Louis; a brother, Morris Owens of Jackson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, a sister, and a grandchild.
