CHARLESTON -- Geneva Hurley, 72, of Charleston died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1992, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 17, 1919 in Diehlstadt, the daughter of Harvey and Linnie Elkins Eldridge.
She lived in Charleston most of her life where she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
On July 21, 1935, she married Joe Hurley, who survives.
She is also survived by three sons, Fred Hurley, Cahokia, Ill., Donald Hurley, Dupo, Ill., and Jim Hurley, Glenwood, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of Assembly of God Church of Charleston, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
