Ulysees "Gene" Schoen, 74, of Scott City died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at his home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1939, in Illmo, to Robert Donnat and Mary Louise Sturm Schoen.
Gene was a truck driver for West Lake Quarry.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty (Terry) McBride of Scott City; a sister, Carolyn Smith of Scott City; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bruce Cheney officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
