Clifford Eugene "Gene" Nance, 86, of Little Rock, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.
He was born April 4, 1927, at Delta to Adam and Daisy Nance.
Gene retired as ice cream supervisor with Coleman Dairy.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Shirley Melton Nance; two daughters, Sharon Riemenschneider and husband Jerry of Benton, Ark., and Debra Stone-Hornback and husband Mark of Bella Vista, Ark.; a brother, James Nance of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon and Cletus; and two sisters, Virge Nance and Marge Roberts.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home in Little Rock. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark.
