FREDERICKTOWN -- Gene Melvin Rehn, 63, of Fredericktown, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994.
He was born April 24, 1931, at Pineville, son of Henry Joseph and Elisabeth Kuehne Rehn. He first married Jean Lawson Dec. 13, 1953. He later married Lawanna June Bowden Aug. 22, 1965, in Cape Girardeau.
Rehn was a teacher, basketball and volleyball coach.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Rehn of Fredericktown; two daughters, Cathy Rehn of Grand Junction, Colo., Laura Hinkle of Fredericktown; a brother, Vinton Collins of Kimberly, Idaho, and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in Fredericktown.
Wilson Funeral Home at Fredericktown is in charge of arrangements.
