TAMMS, Ill. -- Gary Wayne Davis Jr., 21, of Tamms Route 1, died Sat. Jan. 1, 1994 at 2:30 a.m. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Tamms.

He was born at Cairo on April 27, 1972, the son of Gary Wayne Davis and Cora Burton Davis. They both survive of Olive Branch.

He married Melissa Clover Davis and she survives of Tamms.

He is also survived by one son, Gary W. Davis III, of Tamms; two daughters, Britney Elaine Davis and Ashley Marie Davis, both of Tamms; three brothers, Billy, Allan, and Jerry Davis, all of Olive Branch; one sister, Jessica Davis, Olive Branch; two grandmothers, Molly Ellen Burton Davis of Olive Branch and Edna Brown Davis of Elco.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms with the Rev. Jim Stamp officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fayville Cemetery at Fayville.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
