SIKESTON -- Gary Randell "Randy" Looney, 46, of Sikeston died Monday, March 4, 1996, at his home.
He was born March 7, 1949, at Lilbourn, son of William Howard and Bessie Jane Gabriel Looney. He and Barbara Ann Vaughan were married June 25, 1976, at Sikeston.
Looney was employed by Overnite Trucking in Memphis, Tenn., as a driver for five years. He retired in 1992. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Henry Meldrum Post 114 in Sikeston.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Joey Looney; and a daughter, Jessica Looney, all of Sikeston; four brothers, Bill Looney and J.P. Looney, both of Sikeston; Harold Gean Looney of Scott City; and Terry L. Looney of Tennessee; three sisters, Miccola Myers, Judy Catherine Myers and Donna Louise Looney, all of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. William Stanton will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
