Gary McGee

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Gary Lee McGee, 51, of Sikeston died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Aug. 22, 1953, in Sikeston, son of Jesse Lee and Halene Barber McGee. He and Kathie Evans were married May 29, 1976, in Sikeston.

McGee was a member of Miner Baptist Church and Sikeston Eagles Aerie 3319. He was employed as a truck driver instructor for the Certified Drivers Training Academy of Sikeston.

Survivors include his mother; a son, Ryan McGee; and a sister, Sandy Couch, all of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Mitchell Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett, Mo.
