PERRYVILLE -- Gary A. Layton, 50, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, son of Everett S. and Juanita R. Martin Layton.
Layton was a member of Brazeau Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Donna Thompson of Wesco.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 a.m.-noon.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brazeau Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Tom Bass officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
