Gary James Monteith Sr., 81, of Burfordville, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at his home. The family will host a memorial visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Cape County Cowboy Church in Gravel Hill. The Rev. Jim Matthews will conduct a life celebration ceremony starting at 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 18, followed by military honors. Cremation was entrusted to McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
