Funeral service for Garrett E. Seifert, 1325 N. Cape Rock Drive, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. John Owen will officiate.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. in Memorial Gardens at Poplar Bluff.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today. An Elks service will be held at 7.
Seifert, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1994, at his home.
He was born Feb. 15, 1913, in Poplar Bluff, son of George and Ethel Seifert. He and Mary Frances Dunivan were married Nov. 24, 1951, in Cape Girardeau.
Seifert had been an agent with Equitable Life Insurance Co. since 1949. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cape Girardeau Life Underwriters, active in Elks, and served in the Merchant Marines.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Seifert of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Thaddius and Robert Seifert of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Minola Seifert of Poplar Bluff, and two grandchildren.
