Garlen F. Yeager, 77, of St. Louis and a native of Perryville, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, in St. Louis.
He was born June 13, 1923, the son of Kenneth and Iola Thayer Yeager. He married Linda C. Steinbecker, who preceded him in death on May 21, 1978. He also married Anna M. Van Rotz.
He was an accountant.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Van T. Yeager of Ste. Genevieve and Craig Yeager of St. Louis; two sisters, Ethel Foster and Thelma Schrenk, both of Perryville; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. today at Styger & Sons Chapel, 9825 Halls Ferry Road in St. Louis. Friends may also call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, and from 6:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
