Garland D. Fronabarger, 88, of Cape Girardeau, died Nov. 21, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1904, at Oak Ridge, Mo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fronabarger.

He was a photojournalist for the Southeast Missourian for 60 years, retiring in 1986.

He married the former May Whitener Feb. 14, 1926, at Fredericktown. She preceded him in death.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and a charter member of the Cape Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by one son, John William Fronabarger of Phoenix, Ariz.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. John Owen officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.

Burial will be at Memorial Park.
