CAIRO, Ill. -- Frona Fern Thomas, 94, of Cairo, died Tuesday, May 19, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 30, 1897, in Olney, daughter of Cyrus and Nettie Voke McKee. She married Sidney B. Thomas, who died in 1973.

Thomas was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Beulah Griffith of Sedgewickville; a son, Sidney Thomas of Lone Oak, Ky.; a sister, Lou Whitley of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Barkett Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Larry L. Potts will officiate, with burial in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
