Frieda Mary Trickey, 89, died in her sleep Monday, May 15, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 27, 1910, at Egypt Mills, daughter of John and Dena Fornkahl Lange. She and Claude Trickey were married March 12, 1929. He died April 16, 1989.
She was a homemaker and worked part time for attorney W.C. Wylie.
Survivors include a daughter, Dee Blankenship of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Jerry Trickey of Leslie, Elmer Trickey of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, August, John and Robert Lange; and a sister, Esther Farrow.
Service was held at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial was in Iona Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Bruce Blankenship, Randy Blankenship, David Blankenship, Michelle Blankenship Licavoli, and Harold Lange.
