Frieda C. Krueger, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1920, at Sappington, Mo., daughter of John G. and Elizabeth Tautphaeus Meyers. She and Allen M. Krueger were married Sept. 8, 1940, in St. Louis. He died Dec. 22, 1998.
Frieda was baptized Feb. 29, 1920, at St. Lucas Evangelical Church in St. Louis. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1972. She traveled extensively in all 50 states, Canada, Europe, and the Holy Land. She was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Patricia Krueger of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Richard Allen Jr. of Columbia, Mo.; a granddaughter, Laura James of Cape Girardeau; two stepgrandchildren, Michael Colegate of Cape Girardeau, Dawn Hobbs of Vicksburg, Mich.; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hanover Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Sippy officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
