Frieda Dena Jones, 93, died Saturday, April 21, 2001, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 3, 1908, at Egypt Mills, Mo., daughter of Fred and Lena Schwettman Dillingham. She and Clarence Anderson Jones were married Oct. 29, 1927, at Jackson, Mo. He died Oct. 8, 1989.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, its Junior Ladies Aid and also served as secretary of the PTA for Trinity Lutheran School.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Jones of Kelso, Mo.; three daughters, Jane Albrecht and Marsha Hillemann, both of Scott City, Mo., and Suzanne Lewis of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Daisy "Sis" Combs of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau and again from noon until service time Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
