Frieda C. Clore, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Des Peres Hospital in Kirkwood, Mo.
She was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Emma Overbeck Krieger. She and Charles Scott Clore were married June 29, 1935, in Cape Girardeau. He died in June 1944.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, the church's senior ladies guild, past district and local president of VFW Post 3838 Ladies Auxliary, in which she was a life member. She retired from International Shoe Factory, where she worked 34 years.
Survivors include a son, Charlie Clore of Imperial, Mo.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Doug Breite officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
