MORLEY, Mo. -- Fredia P. King, 76, of Morley, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at her home after an extended illness.
She was born April 30, 1924, in Biggers, Ark., daughter of Ray and Lorie Arnold Rice. She and Harold D. King were married June 29, 1940, in Dell, Ark. He died Nov. 17, 1986.
King was a housewife and homemaker. She worked 20 years as a supervisor for the Community Sheltered Workshop in Sikeston, Mo.
She was a member of the Morley Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and foster daughter, Harold E. "Gene" King and Pat Turner, both of Morley; four brothers, Hulen Rice and Vernon Rice, both of Ozark, Ark., and J.D. Rice and Donald Rice, both of Bayville, Colo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter and a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Morley Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Cebulak will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley.
