CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Freddie Virgil Wicker Sr., 52, of Chaffee died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Oct. 22, 1948, in Wyatt, Mo., son of Virgil Fabious and Mary Marcella Simmons Wicker. He and Anna Seyer were married June 13, 1970...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Freddie Virgil Wicker Sr., 52, of Chaffee died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 22, 1948, in Wyatt, Mo., son of Virgil Fabious and Mary Marcella Simmons Wicker. He and Anna Seyer were married June 13, 1970.

Wicker was a truck driver for Elders Trucking Co. in Scott City, Mo.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the General Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Pete and Freddie Wicker, both of Chaffee; two daughters, Mary Ann Hibdon and Priscilla Kennedy, both of Chaffee; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Paul "Pete" Elledge of Chaffee; a stepbrother, James Goodson of Bunker Hill, Ill.; four sisters, Naomi Whitlock of Chaffee, Kay Seyer and Debbie Mowery, both of Jackson, Mo., and Judy Demoro of Nixa, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Joe Payne will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
