MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Freddie V. Buckner, 55, of Marble Hill died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 1, 1947 in Ypsilanti, Mich., son of Vollmer and Frieda James Buckner. He and Carolyn Garland were married July 9, 1965.
Buckner was a truck driver, a member of the VFW Post and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandy Brown of Jackson, Mo., and Angie Thompson of Sedgewickville, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo., from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Sam Brotherton and Rev. Jessie Long will officiate with burial in Pulliam Cemetery near Marble Hill.
