EAST PRAIRIE -- Fred Lee Jones, 88, of East Prairie died Saturday, July 15, 1995, at Bertrand Retirement Home in Bertrand. He was born April 11, 1907, to James and Addie Berry Jones in Hickory Grove. EAST PRAIRIE -- Fred Lee Jones, 88, of East Prairie died Saturday, July 15, 1995, at Bertrand Retirement Home in Bertrand.

He was born April 11, 1907, to James and Addie Berry Jones in Hickory Grove.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Gertrude Jones of East Prairie; six nieces, Silvey Barker, Sammie Ponder and Dotty Aters all of East Prairie, Gertrude Helderman of Burfordsville, Janice Nunnelee of Cape Girardeau and Alfreda Nash of St. Louis; and two nephews, William H. Hulett of Escondido, Calif., and Gene Hill of Atlanta.

Jones was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, two half-sisters and three half-brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lessley Cemetery in Marble Hill, with Martin Lucas officiating.
