Fred Edgar Gee, 83, of Jackson died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Arcola, Ill., son of Charles Arthur and Dosy Munson Gee. He and Martha Williene Graham were married Oct. 26, 1979, in Arcola.
Gee was a self-employed interior and exterior designer. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Murray, Ky. He moved to Jackson five years ago from Murray.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Madelen McLaughlin of Cape Girardeau, Jody McLane of Arcola; three sons, Terry Gee of Arcola, Gerald Graham of Dallas, Texas, Thomas Graham of Winter Garden, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Lynwood Baptist Church from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with Dr. Derek Staples officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park, with full military rites to be conducted by Missouri Honor Guard.
