PERRYVILLE -- Franklin G. Emmendorfer, 78, of Perryville died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, at his home.
He was born March 15, 1918, at Cedar Fork, son of John and Albertine Bergmann Emmendorfer. He and Helen Marie Buckholtz were married June 9, 1978.
Emmendorfer had been a jet engine mechanic at Sabreliner Corp. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Linus Emmendorfer of Jacksonville, Fla., Robert and William Emmendorfer of Perryville; two stepdaughters, Janet Yarbrough of St. Louis, Kay Basler of Ste. Genevieve; a stepson, Gary Buckholtz of Prairie Du Rocher, Ill.; a sister, Marie Lueders of Silver Lake; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-11:15 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Gerry Kelly will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
