SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Franklin C. Higdon of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Harvest Temple Church, with the Rev. Jim Worthington officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery.

Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Higdon, 61, died Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born March 19, 1933, in Wilson, Ark., son of Clay E. and Bell Cooper Higdon.

Higdon retired as a painter at a steel factory, and was a member of Harvest Temple.

Survivors include four brothers, Cecil, Jerry, John and James Higdon; four sisters, Willie Higdon and Annie Higdon of Vanduser, Kathryn Higdon of Sikeston and Inez Nolen of Overland.
