Frank P. Windeknecht, 88, Cape Girardeau Route 1, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born June 13, 1904, at Egypt Mills, son of Frank and May O'Guin Windeknecht. He and Zelma Damron were married Nov. 26, 1927, in Cape Girardeau.

Windeknecht worked at International Shoe Co. 33 years, was a salesman with Raleigh Co. 12 years, and then farmed.

Survivors include his wife, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Scott Moon will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
