SIKESTON -- Frank Gordon McAfee, 74, of Sikeston, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, June 9, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born at Charleston July 5, 1920, son of James Patterson and Inez Brookman McAfee.

He was married to Alfreda Browning on March 15, 1941. She survives.

He was a member of tahe Temple Baptist Church at Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, Arnold McAfee of East Prairie; a daughter, Loretta Chandler of Caruthersville; three brothers, Loyd McAfee of San Antonio, Raymond McAfee of Cape Girardeau and John McAfee of East Prairie; four sisters, Leora Lange of Metropolis, Ill., Dorothy Coffer, Mary Bently and Bessie Kersey all of Charleston; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Service will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel at East Prairie, with Brother Burl Britt of the Full Gospel Church of East Prairie and Brother George White, pastor of First Baptist Church in East Prairie, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Sikeston.
